BICENTENNIAL LEVER ACTION CARBINE WITH MATCHING FACTORY BOX. Cal. 30-30. S# USA19384. Bbl. 20". Model 94 lever action carbine mfg. by Winchester commemorating the United States' Bicentennial. Left side of the bbl. is marked with the Winchester trademark logo, followed by the model and cal. designations, with "Bicentennial 1776-1976 marked on the right. Left side of receiver is engraved with a patriotic eagle, with "76" encompassed in stars on the right. Receiver exhibits a case color hardened finish, with the lever, saddle ring, hammer, buttplate, bbl., mag. tube, and bbl. bands exhibiting a blue finish. Nicely figured checkered wood straight grip buttstock and forend. Blade front sight with U-notch rear sight. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: matching factory styrofoam insert with sleeve, remaining mostly sealed (save for one end) in what appears to be period paper packaging. CONDITION: near new, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their original factory applied finishes overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting what appears to be grease while retaining well-defined rifling throughout. Wood furniture is excellent overall. Insert and sleeve appear very good overall. (24-2877/MLW).
